David Warm
David Warm has been Executive Director of the Mid-America Regional Council since July 1990. As the association of local governments for the bistate Kansas City region, the Mid-America Regional Council works to build a strong metropolitan community. It serves as a forum for intergovernmental cooperation, conducts long-range planning for the region, and provides information and services to local governments and the regional community.
Prior to coming to MARC, David was the City Administrator at Liberty, Missouri, and also served in administrative positions with the city of Kansas City, Missouri. David is a native Californian and received his B. A. degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and his Master?s Degree in Public Administration from the University of California at Riverside.
David is active in both state and national professional associations, as well as a member of civic, school, and church-related initiatives. David and his wife, Julie, have two daughters Anna and Mary.
