As the nation?s leading voice for and advisor to regional initiatives, ARS is learning constantly about the diverse contexts for regional problem-solving, the changing nature of regional leadership and regional structure, the role and character of civic entrepreneurs and catalysts, and the lessons learned from both success and failure in regions around the country.  The ARS Monographs have filled this need in the past, and future work will build on their insights.

Sample topics include a) the changing nature of business leadership at the regional level; b) the past, present and future of regional councils and opportunities for private sector collaboration; c) the role of regional structures and governance in driving state and federal policy and program delivery.
